The scheme to restore and open up this iconic medieval church on St Michael’s Hill is now, after many years, making great progress.
The roofs, destroyed in the recent fire, have now been replaced and renewed, leaded windows repaired or replaced to match the originals and the rotten floor removed for renewal. Work is anticipated to be completed by June.
Full marks to Norman Routledge for his commitment in backing the restoration. It will be great to see this neglected building once again a vital asset to the community.
